Orchid Dermatology DOES NOT do preventative skin cancer screening, this service is provided by your Primary Care Physician. We perform Full Body Skin Exams where we can evaluate, treat, prescribe, and perform procedures all in one visit.
A Preventative Skin Cancer Screening is when insurance only allows the provider to look for abnormal moles or lesions. No other skin issues can be addressed, no procedures can be done, and no prescriptions can be ordered at this visit.
Yes, Orchid Dermatology treats benign lesions such as skin tags, seborrheic keratoses, and benign moles. The removal of these benign lesion(s) are considered cosmetic in nature and are not covered by medical insurance plans. The cost of the cosmetic procedure is an out-of-pocket expense and is due in full at time of services rendered.
Pricing:
$150.00- for up to 15 lesions
$250.00- for 15-30 lesions
$400.00- for extensive/complex per zone
Yes, starting February 16, 2026; A 3% surcharge is applied to all payments made with Visa, Mastercard, and Discover Credit Cards.
We will NO longer accept American Express
Surcharge does NOT apply to:
• Debit cards
• HSA / FSA cards
• Prepaid cards
• Cash or checks
The surcharge amount and total transaction cost will be disclosed at the time of payment. You may choose another form of payment to avoid this fee.
