Alexandria Brown
Alex Anne Brown, MPAS, PA-C
Alex Anne is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She received her Bachelors of Science in Biology at the University of Florida where she then completed her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from UF's nationally-ranked Physician Assistant program. Upon graduation, she was inducted into the prestigious Pi Alpha National Honor Society. Due to her academic and clinical excellence, Alex Anne still represents UF College of Medicine as a private tutor for medical and PA students. Since becoming a PA, Alex Anne has worked exclusively in dermatology.
To further her training, Alex Anne is completing the 2-year Diplomatic Fellowship Program through the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). In addition, she is an active member of SDPA, American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants (FAPA).
In her spare time, Alex Anne and her husband love to travel. Together they have climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, swam with great white sharks in South Africa, trekked alongside Orangutans in Borneo, and hiked with Komodo dragons in Indonesia.

Dana Pilz
Dana Pilz, MPAS, PA-C
Dana Pilz is a board certified physician assistant specializing in cosmetic, general and surgical dermatology. She is a proud diplomat fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). She graduated with a Masters of Science degree in physician assistant studies from Marietta College in 2004. Prior to working in dermatology, Dana worked as a PA for 12 years in an emergency department which has given her a solid medical foundation and has taught both PAs and residents in a clinical setting.
 She is always researching the latest dermatology trends by attending both local and national conferences and is a member of multiple PA organizations both on a state and national level. She truly enjoys treating a variety of dermatology concerns and is especially passionate about injecting fillers. Dana considers herself to be outgoing and personable and will continue to strive for excellence for her patients.
 Dana is originally from Ohio but truly enjoys the gulf coast which she now calls home. She loves to spend time with her husband and two young boys. She also loves to travel, fish and go on wildlife excursions. She has observed monkeys on an active volcano, swam with whale sharks and trained dolphins and sea lions in the past.

Amy Fenenga, MPAS, PA-C

Amy Fenenga grew up in Roanke, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise with a minor in Chemistry at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia. During college and prior to her studies as a Physician Assistant, Amy worked as a medical assistant for a Dermatologist in Salem, Virginia. This is when she found a special interest in the field of Dermatology. In 2001, Amy received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia She then worked in an emergency room in Virginia Beach for a year before moving to Charlotte, North Carolina and then to Atlanta, Georgia to practice Dermatology. Amy has practiced general Dermatology for the past 22 years. Amy is a licensed by the Georgia and Florida Composite Board of Medical Examiners and maintains certification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Florida Dermatology Physician Assistants organization. Amy is currently accepting new patients. 
 

Sarah Jenkins, APRN

Sarah Jenkins is a board-certified nurse practitioner and a member of the Society of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners. She earned her Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from Walden University and holds a Master’s degree in Nursing Leadership from Western Governors University.

Sarah brings a diverse clinical background with experience in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, general surgery, and oncology plastic surgery, enhancing her comprehensive and patient-centered approach to dermatologic care.

She joined Orchid Dermatology in February and is working closely alongside Dr. Kate Gerber, where she is undergoing advanced training in medical and surgical dermatology. Sarah is dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s needs and looks forward to building lasting relationships within the community.

A native of Bradenton, Florida, Sarah enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, staying active through CrossFit and pickleball, and being outdoors whenever possible.
